Alex Leonard, or Loli to those closest to him, is the son of French photographer Jacques Leonard and Roma model Rosario Amaya. He transports works of art and, together with his brother Santi, also promotes and preserves his father’s work, popularly known as the payo Chac; a legacy of more than 30,000 negatives that documents part of the history of Barcelona’s Roma community between the 1940s and 1970s.
