I started this project a few years after meeting Oscar. I was obsessed with conveying everything he discovered and told me through our travels, always with art at the heart of it. I wanted to remain faithful to his way of speaking and transparent about his way of thinking.

Then one day, in a huge gallery in Ibiza, I took a photograph of him from behind, standing in front of an enormous, colourful painting, while he hurled expletives at what he said was not art but a wonderful piece of decoration. That was where the ArtwithOSCAR series began, with the promise that only memorable works would appear in it (a couple of abstract works managed to sneak in).

It started as a website, then became an Instagram account, and finally became part of the new edition of the essay Más que discutible, which ended up being called Sin figuración, poca diversión, bringing the project to an end.

100 posts. 100 reflections. 100 images of Oscar in front of a work that fascinates him, that he likes or, in one exceptional case, that serves as a way of making his point about what he considers not to be art.
